Gene is the team leader for the energy project finance series of courses and is the Executive Director of the Green NRG Institute in Orange, California. Green NRG is a non profit 501(c)3 organization with a focus of education on the business aspects of the U.S. energy sector and corporate leadership training.
Mr. Beck is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Lease Professional (CLP). He has served on five environmental advisory boards and 12 compliance task forces at the South Coast Air Quality Management District in Southern California, two small business environmental and small business financing task forces in Sacramento for the State of California, and several environmental task forces with the EPA in Washington, D.C. Additionally, he is a past member of the Southern California Association of Governments Energy Advisory Board, past President and executive board member of the Southern California chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and past board member of the Orange County Engineering Council. He was the AEE annual conference chairman in 2008 on AB32 Legislation and Implementation, and the Co-chairman of the 2009 AEE annual conference on Energy Solutions: CleanTech and Renewable Energy.
He recently authored two new books. Grid Parity: The Art of Financing Renewable Energy in the U.S. and a second book, Dictionary of 21st Century Energy Technologies, Financing and Sustainability.
Wayne Alldredge joined Servi-Tek in 2023 and is responsible for managing engineering operations in the Los Angeles South and Orange County territories as well as leading the development of sustainable energy management solutions and green business strategies to reduce energy consumption across Servi-Tek’s portfolio. He works with client teams to develop and deliver best in class work product and processes, aligning operations, maintenance, energy, and sustainability with our clients’ overall business objectives.
Previous experience
Mr. Alldredge has more than 35 years of commercial building operations, maintenance, and energy industry experience. Most recently, he was Director of Energy Services at VCA Green and owner and Principal at Improvement Facilitation LLC, a LEED and Energy Efficiency Consulting Company, member of the California Commissioning Collaborative, and Energy Star® Partner. His responsibilities included analyzing energy use, performing LEED gap analysis, conducting ASHRAE Audits, creating energy conservation measures, providing conservation culture development and conducting continuous improvement training for clients.
His projects have included sustainability & energy assessments and redesign of operational processes, operational analyses for non-capital savings, and the development of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction projects for global portfolios. He has worked with clients such as General Electric, Equity Office Properties, NBC-Universal, Delta Faucets GE Healthcare, Intel Corporation, and Kilroy Realty Corporation. Prior to that he was a Portfolio Engineering Manager at Equity Office Properties with ~8M square feet and a Branch Manager with ABM with over 47 accounts.

Mr. Alldredge is certified in Electro-Mechanical Technology and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from California State University at Long Beach. He is a LEED® Accredited Professional, A WELL Accredited Professional, a Certified Energy Auditor, a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, an Existing Buildings Commissioning Professional, an Envision Sustainable Practitioner, and a Green Globes Professional. He is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, a member of the California Commissioning Collaborative a Life Member of the Association of Energy Engineers, and a Charter Member of the AEE Energy Engineers Academy.
Dr. Howard is a visionary energy researcher and cleantech entrepreneur. He brings together a doctorate in engineering and degrees in mathematics, economics and technology entrepreneurship with a passion for the environment, startups and social change. Daniel has been part of disruptive technology startups going through stages of hyper-growth and global expansion, as well as startups that failed. He has been a graduate research fellow for the National Science Foundation, United States Agency for International Development and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Daniel’s research focuses on energy system optimization including health and climate impacts and paradigm shifts in energy planning.
Retired Naval Commander
Graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Graduate degrees include: Masters of Business Management from Central Michigan University, Masters degree in Software Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, Masters degree in Systems Engineering from California State Fullerton. Gilbert completed a career in the Navy and achieved the rank of Commander. He commanded two nuclear submarines. After his military career, Gilbert worked in the Aerospace Industry as a project manager and in the Banking Industry specializing in Anti-Money Laundering.

Her specialties are executive coaching and team facilitation. Clients have included CBIZ, GE Healthcare, McKesson Specialty Health, Hallmark, SKF worldwide, Coca Cola in Greece, and Efes Pilsen in Turkey to name a few.
Pamela is a Managing Partner of Harrison Assessments Talent Solutions, which is a cutting edge assessment solution for all aspects of the talent lifecycle, from hiring “A” players to succession planning and engagement and retention analysis.
She has authored two business books and spoken and trained around the world. Pamela is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College (Portland, OR) and earned her MBA at the University of San Diego. Community service includes Landmark Education coaching, mentoring a USD MBA student each year, and President of the Advisory Council of the University Club’s Distinguished Speaker Series.
Bruce Noble is the Deputy Sector Navigator for Energy Construction & Utilities- Los Angeles economic sectors working on an initiative from the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office – “Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy” (DWM).
Responsibility includes aligning Community College and High School Career & Technical Education pathways to regional energy, construction and utilities industry workforce competencies, skills, abilities and knowledge needs. Prior to joining the DWM initiative, he served in a variety of executive and management roles in the transportation, energy and environmental technologies sectors. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Eva Cheung, PE is Senior Engineer for Oconsulting and Safety Trainer for Might EHSl. Her industry experience includes 10 years of sustainability, 8 years of structural, and 6 years of safety.
Eva is a Professional Engineer (PE), who provides structural engineering and structural observation for residential and commercial projects. Eva was the Sustainability SME Engineer for multiple facilities of Genentech and reported facility-wide sustainability data for Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) Health, Safety and Environmental Reporting Guidelines – including the calculation of facility-wide energy consumption. This data was also used to successfully win The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) Pharmaceutical Group Leader for nine consecutive years.
Ms. Cheung has assisted Southern California Edison by facilitating the participation of its customers in their energy efficiency and demand response incentive programs. She has assisted LA Metro by evaluating sites for potential renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. For various clients, Eva worked on CDP, LEED and LEED-like projects and assisted companies with Energy Star Portfolio Manager. Eva graduated from UCLA with a BS in civil engineering and obtained her Sustainability Leadership Certificate from UCI Extension. She has also been a CARB GHG Verifier and is a certified CAL/Fed OSHA 500 safety trainer.
