Upper Five Vineyard is situated at 1920 feet outside of Talent in the Rogue Valley AVA. Terry Sullivan and Molly Morison planted sauvignon blanc, tempranillo, and syrah grapes on the ‘upper five’ acres of the historic Bagley pear orchard in 2003, and in 2006 added grenache. Upper Five was the first vineyard in Southern Oregon to receive Organic certification in 2005(view certificate). Upper Five became a Demeter certified Biodynamic® farm (view certificate) in 2018 . The site elevation and northerly aspect allows for good acid retention and distinctive complexity in our grapes. We believe our hands-on Biodynamic® farming practices and hands- off natural wine making philosophy produces vibrant, intriguing wines that honestly tell the story of a place and time.
