We produce fine winegrapes in Lake County, California on three different ranches, each with unique soils and elevation which lend themselves well to particular varietals. 'Lake County is more or less an extension of Napa Valley, and of the Mayacamas Mountains, but at higher elevation,' Wine Spectator Senior Editor James Laube wrote in June 2010.
