Pato's Dream Date Gardens is a 5-acre farm located in the Coachella Valley of Southern California, about 150 miles east of Los Angeles (30 miles from Palm Springs). Dates like the intense desert conditions, with rainfall usually below 5' a year. Temperatures usually top 100 on a daily basis from June through September. July and August days often hit 110 - 120 or higher! Our farm is actually 68 feet below sea level and the San Andreas Fault comes to the earth's surface only a few miles from our house.
